Our Vision:
To excel in PA/AV, photography and cinematography, so that our expertise can be shared and benefit everyone.
Our Mission Statement:
We strive to constantly upgrade ourselves in all technical areas, and be both independent and team workers, in order to produce quality and creative audio and visual outputs to impress and delight our audience.
Our Training Areas:
Leveraging on the mackintosh (mac) platform and software applications, members will be equipped with the following training and knowledge.
- Journalism
- Camera Works
- Directing
- Video Editing – Using Final Cut Express HD
- DVD Authoring – Using iDVD
- Photo Editing – Using iPhoto
- Musical Creation – Using Garage Band
With the knowledge acquired and hands-on sessions during training, members will be assigned event coverage for various school activities, ranging from Sports Day to Festive celebrations. Their skills in photography and videography will be taxed, and their works will eventually be displayed over either the school magazines or webpage. This is a sacred and important mission for those who wish to be part of our family.
Competitions:
To sharpen and challenge our technical and creative problem-solving skills, members will participate in the following competitions:
- Kids World News – by PANASONIC
- School Digital Media Awards – by MOE
- National Day Video Competition – by National Heritage Board
- YourFilm – by South West CDC
- Rolling DV – by MediaCorp
Projects:
Under the guidance of teacher-in-charge, members will be involved in various video projects such as CNY Video, Racial Harmony Video, Sec 4 Graduation Video, PROM Nite, etc. They will take on the roles of Cameraman, Soundman, Editor, Commentator, Photographer and even actors. These project experiences would surely help to hone their technical and creative problem solving skills.
Service Learning Projects:
To contribute meaningfully to a greater community for a good purpose, our members will take on the role of entrepreneurs to sell DVDs, which are their own creations. For instance, event coverage of school concert, Basketball National Finals, etc. We hope to develop our members to be more enterprising while the funds raised, we hope to benefit the needy pupils in our school.

Achievements:
- 3rd Prize Sec/JC Category in the National Day Video Competition organized by National Heritage Board and MOE.
- Successfully conceptualized and produced a Sec 4 Graduation DVD for our graduating pupils as mementos.
- Created videos for broadcast in school: Chinese New Year Video, Racial Harmony Video.
- Thematic Prize,"Inspirational Senior" organised by South-West CDC and NLB.
Desired Outcomes of Our Members:
We hope through the exposure, skills and knowledge obtained from this Club, our members will develop a greater appreciation for arts and aesthetics. Such a holistic experience would better prepare them to be more vocal, confident, creative team workers and leaders, for careers in the media, IT or corporate world of tomorrow.
